On the sitcom, he portrayed Jethalal, Dilip Joshi’s best friend, and their friendship was well-liked. In a recent interview with RJ Siddharth Kannan, Shailesh Lodha discussed his opinions about competing on Bigg Boss and other topics.
When asked if he would think about participating in Bigg Boss, Shailesh Lodha graciously denied it. He advised knowing one’s limitations. He admitted I don’t think I’m strong enough to go on a show like Bigg Boss. I am unable to make the necessary commitment needed for it.
Shailesh quoted a couplet by Bashir Badr when asked the reason for his abrupt departure from the TMKOC: “Kuch toh majbooriyan rahi hongi, yun hi koi bewafaa nahi hota.” “I won’t discuss about why I quit the show, but I’m waiting for the perfect time,” the speaker continued.
Shailesh Lodha already admitted that he dislikes comedy on programs like The Kapil Sharma Show in a statement. He had graced the program a few months prior, which prompted his trolling. On social media, he received abuse for attending the performance. When questioned about it, Shailesh admitted that while he did agree that he disapproved of the type of humor that was being used, he did not specifically name any individuals. He continued by saying that he promoted Hindi literature on the program and that the audience had cried the first time a comedian had read a poem on stage.
The Taarak Mehta actor revealed that Kapil Sharma and he are close friends and that he has a lot of respect for him as an artist. He clarified that the statement had nothing to do with Kapil.
