Father’s Day: From Shweta Bachchan to Sanjay Dutt celebs pour their hearts on social media

Amitabh Bachchan’s social media presence is impeccable. He is one of the few senior actors who are quite active on Twitter and Instagram.

While he loves to interact with his fans via social media this time his daughter took the opportunity to adore him. Shweta Bachchan shared a super cute photo with Big B and tagged her father to wish him a happy Father’s Day. Shweta delighted fans even more by twisting Big B’s iconic dialogue in a super cute selfie.

The father-daughter duo can be seen in the sweet photo smiling wide for the camera. Their candid photo delighted fans, who flooded the comments section with heart emojis. Remember Amitabh Bachchan’s iconic dialogue from the 1988 film Shahenshah, “Rishte mein toh hum tumhare baap lagte hai aur naam hai Shahenshah?” Shweta, on the other hand, added a Father’s Day twist to the dialogue.

Shweta Bachchan captioned their selfie, “Rishte mein toh sirf mere lagte hai. #fathersday #girldad.”

The comments on the post were heartwarming as one read, “Daughters give dads the greatest smiles!!!!” One fan added a twist to Big B’s song, writing, “jisake Papa lambe usaka bhee bada naam hai.”

Anushka Sharma also posted a photo of her dad on Instagram Stories. Her father, Ajay Kumar Sharma, appears to be deeply involved in his phone in the picture. The photo appears to have been taken at Anushka’s Mumbai home; he is seen sitting next to a massive teddy bear, most likely belonging to the actor’s daughter Vamika. In honour of the occasion, the actor captioned the photo with a red heart emoji.

He wrote about his childhood with his late father, filmmaker Veeru Devgn, in a blog post. “It’s moments like these that take me back to the days when Papa used to be the one behind the camera as I curiously peeked from the sides. Trying to absorb his love for filmmaking as much as I could.” An hour later, he tweeted, “Happy Father’s Day to Shomuji (Kajol’s father). I’m marking your birth anniversary today with a special thought & a prayer. Your presence is missed each day.”
