Landmarc Entertainment has announced its upcoming romantic Hindi short film, Kiss Ka Kissa, set to premiere on October 22, 2026. Directed by Ashish Sharma in his narrative fiction debut, the Mumbai-set short stars real-life married couple Priyanshu Painyuli and Vandana Joshi, bringing natural chemistry and familiarity to the screen.
The story revolves around a relatable urban dilemma: in a fast-paced city where couples remain digitally connected all day, finding a few quiet, uninterrupted minutes together in person can feel like an impossible task. Instead of focusing on grand, cinematic romantic gestures, Kiss Ka Kissa captures the charm of stolen moments, youthful innocence, and the humor found in everyday life when privacy becomes a luxury.
Filmmaker-producer Vidhi Kasliwal, who leads Landmarc Entertainment, serves as the film’s producer and creative visionary. Reflecting on the project’s appeal, Kasliwal shared that she was drawn to its underlying simplicity, emphasizing that romance does not always require larger-than-life setups to evoke deep emotions.
Writer and director Ashish Sharma explained that the film celebrates small, unfulfilled romantic dreams from youth. Set against the hustle and bustle of Mumbai, the narrative explores how even a simple kiss can turn into a memorable adventure, using natural humor to create a heart-warming, feel-good viewing experience.
The creative team behind Kiss Ka Kissa includes creative producer Aarti Bagdi, director of photography Vikrant Thakur, and editor Puloma Pal. Sarthak Karkare composed the music, wrote the lyrics, and crafted the background score.
