Shruti Haasan Claps Back at Trolls Asking ‘Which Number Boyfriend Is This’: “You’re Not Getting It…”

Actor Shruti Haasan has been candid about her relationships, most recently dating actor Michael Corsale and visual artist Santanu Hazarika. In a conversation with Filmfare, she expressed that she has “no regrets” in life and addressed the common question she receives about the number of her boyfriends.

When asked if there was anything she would like to redo or if she had any regrets, Shruti said, “I have hurt some people, and I wish I hadn’t done that. Everything else, I have like zero regrets. I’m okay with it; I was a clown, and that’s fine. The only thing I regret is hurting some valuable people in my life by mistake, and I now spend my time apologizing for it.”As the discussion shifted to her relationships, she mentioned that she wishes she “wasn’t so influenced” by them.

She reflected on the persistence of certain patterns in her life, stating, “We all have that one dangerous ex. Apart from that, I close the chapter with no regrets. So when people ask, ‘Which number boyfriend is this?’ they don’t understand— for them, it’s just a number, but for me, it represents the times I’ve struggled to find the love I want. I don’t feel bad about it, but I do feel a little bad. Of course, I’m human.”Shruti also shared her perspective on breakups, emphasizing that she doesn’t blame her partner when a relationship ends. She believes that two people can’t be expected to change “at the same time, in the same way.” She described herself as “loyal” and “good” in relationships, asserting that if she hasn’t chosen someone, she doesn’t owe anyone explanations.
