Ranbir Kapoor expresses interest in a sequel to his superhit romantic drama ‘Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani’

This month marks the tenth anniversary of Ranbir Kapoor’s romance drama ‘Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani,’ which debuted in 2013. The film, which starred Ranbir and Deepika Padukone, was a box office hit and is still regarded as one of the most beloved romantic dramas of the recent decade.

It has been a decade since the film was released, and many fans believe that a sequel should be made. Surprisingly, not only fans, but also Ranbir, believe that ‘Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani’ is a fantastic idea for a sequel.

Ranbir Kapoor was asked in a virtual chat session with his fans which movie, other than Brahmastra, he thought would make a worthy sequel. He stated that it would be Yeh Jawaani Hai.

“I believe Yeh Jawaani Hain Deewani will make an excellent sequel… I recall Ayan having a very wonderful story before embarking on this Brahmastra adventure. Never, however, say never. He might be able to make it after a few years. I believe the story will take place ten years later, where Bunny, Naina, Avi, and Aditi are in their lives. “I think it’ll be interesting and enjoyable to get to know those characters,” Ranbir stated in his virtual chat session.

Ayan Mukerji directed Yeh Jawaani Hain Deewani. Ranbir played Bunny in the film, Deepika played Naina, while Aditya Kapur and Kalki Koechlin played Aditi and Avi, respectively.
