Wiki – Rakul Preet Singh is an Indian actress who generally appears in South Indian movies. She was born on 10^th October 1990. She did her schooling from Army Public School, Dhaula Kaun in New Delhi. She then went to Jesus and Mary College in Delhi to study Mathematics wherein she got the chance to do modelling, which eventually made her win four subtitles beauty pageants. These include Femina Miss Talented, Pantaloons Femina Miss Fresh Face, Femina Miss Beautiful Eyes and Femina Miss Beautiful Smile, while a title of Miss India Contest in the year 2011. Also, she became People’s Choice Miss Indiatimes. Before entering into the modelling and film world she was an active golf player and even played at the national levels.

Bio – She entered in the films making her debut in a Kannada based movie called Gilli, which is basically the remake of a Tamil film called 7G Rainbow Colony from Selvaraghavan. She entered the South Indian films to make her pocket money but she didn’t realise the kind of money and potential this Film Industry has, which has give lots of popularity and money to make her as a successful actress of the day. However, leaving amidst her film and modelling assignments she completed her degree and finally returned in the year 2011 to continue her film career. She then did a Tamil movie called Keratam, which gave her the opportunity to do Tamil movies at the same time while she was doign her Kannada based movies.

She made her entry into Bollywood industry with the movie called Yaariyaan, which was applauded for her performance in the film. Now, she has four Telugu movies in the row, including Pandaga Chesuko, Rough and Current Theega the remaining is untitled. As far her family life is concerned, she is the daughter of Colonel and hence has a tender connection with the Indian Army. She comes from a disciplined army and family life and was inculcated with values like obedience, timeliness, commitment and restraint, which according to her has helped her a lot in making and stabilizing her acting career. As far as her interests are concerned, she likes horse riding, golf and Bharatanatyam dance. She is also a fitness freak and thus is regular in things like swimming and gymming. She is also a blue belt in Karate and at times even love to play sports like basketball, lawn tennis and even cricket.
