Prithviraj Trailer: Akshay Kumar’s period drama promises to give unforgettable experience

Finally after a long wait, the trailer of one of the most anticipated films of the year, Prithviraj starring Akshay Kumar is out. The actor will be seen playing Samrat Prithviraj Chauhan which was released on Monday, May 9. Miss World 2017 Manushi Chhillar who will be seen in the role of Princess Sanyogita is making her Bollywood debut with the period war drama.

The film is based on the life and courageous and fearless mighty Samrat Prithviraj Chauhan, who fought valiantly against the merciless invader Muhammad Ghori.

According to the trailer, the period action war drama will provide the audience with an unforgettable experience. The 2:53 long trailer is filled with breathtaking visuals and action-packed scenes, as well as an exhilarating score composed by Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy.

Sharing the trailer on his social media, Akshay Kumar wrote, “शौर्य और वीरता की अमर कहानी… यह है कहानी सम्राट पृथ्वीराज चौहान की । Releasing in Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu. Celebrate Samrat #Prithviraj Chauhan with #YRF50 only at a theatre near you on 3rd June.”

In addition to Akshay and Manusha, the cast also includes Sanjay Dutt as Kaka Kanha, Sonu Sood as Chand Bardai, Ashutosh Rana as Jayachandra, and Manav Vij as Muhammad Ghori.

The film’s release date was pushed back to November 13, 2020, to coincide with Diwali, due to the Covid-19 pandemic. The release date was later pushed back to January 21, 2022 because of the Omicron variant. Now the film will finally release on June 3, worldwide in Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu.

Dr. Chandraprakash Dwivedi, who directed the biggest television epic Chanakya, based on the life and times of India’s most influential political strategist, and the multiple award-winning Pinjar, have directed Prithviraj, which is produced by Yash Raj Films.
