Neha Sharma Issues Strict Warning Against Unauthorised AI-Generated Content

Actress Neha Sharma operationalised a strong stance against the unauthorised use of her face and likeness in AI-generated media. On October 17, the actor posted a formal warning across her social media channels, instructing creators to immediately delete and cease distributing fake videos and images featuring her identity without permission.

In her public statement, Sharma made her position clear:

“Anyone using my face or likeness to create AI-generated videos or images without my consent is hereby warned to STOP IMMEDIATELY.”

Zero Tolerance for Misrepresentation

Addressing the legal implications and damage to her personal reputation, Neha urged individuals to pull down existing digital content created using artificial intelligence.

She stated:

“Take down all such content already posted and refrain from creating, editing, or circulating any further AI-generated videos or images using my identity. Using my face in this manner to misrepresent me or malign my reputation is completely unacceptable. I DO NOT CONSENT TO THE UNAUTHORIZED USE OF MY FACE OR LIKENESS.”

Firm Legal Action Promised

To counter the misuse of identity behind online anonymity, the actress emphasized that legal consequences will apply to anyone generating or spreading deepfakes:

“Consider this a formal warning: I WILL TAKE LEGAL ACTION AGAINST EVERY INDIVIDUAL RESPONSIBLE FOR CREATING, POSTING, OR CIRCULATING SUCH CONTENT. No one should assume that hiding behind a fake account or the use of AI will protect them from accountability. TAKE IT DOWN NOW. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED.”

Upcoming Professional Projects

On her professional front, Neha Sharma will next be seen headlining the Punjabi film Sanjog. Directed by Harish Gargi, the movie co-stars Jassie Gill and Happy Raikoti. Sanjog is scheduled for a worldwide theatrical release on November 27, 2026.
