Sahoo Ticket Price Soars – Trade Reacts

Saaho_teaser

If you are planning to catch the super action film Saaho this Friday think again as it is going to put holes in your wallet. Thanks to the soaring price of the tickets, the patrons now have to pay 30 percent extra for the tickets to the original price of the tickets, if not more. This will add extra burden on the tickets and the audience as well claims the film distributors in North India.

Talking about the same, they said they had the orders for the first weekend but it seems that the makers have extended the days for the same. Like the Salman Khan starrer Bharat, it was asked by the makers of Saaho to have price high only for three days but now as per the new orders, it has gone beyond the first weekend. They claimed that it will hamper the business as we know the audience can have other means to catch the film as well as claim the trade experts.

The trade insiders feel that by increasing the cost of the tickets, the makers would earn more and would, therefore, set up a new benchmark over the box office. The film which has a high buzz in the media is likely to impress the audience in a big way. However, they feel that by adding more on the tickets can overburden the audience. As we know Saaho is a megabudget film made at a whopping cost of 350 Crores, hence it was expected from the makers to see some amount of escalation in the ticket cost. The film is expected to get a historical collection at the box office, however, with the hike in cost will hamper the early judgment and buzz of the film as well.
