Ranveer Singh, a Bollywood star, was recently observed driving one of his luxurious car through the Mumbai airport with an expired registration. The actor, who is known for his collection of exotic cars such as the Lamborghini Urus and the Aston Martin Rapide S, was observed driving his blue Aston Martin Rapide S at the airport. Later, a video of him went viral after an internet user accused him of driving after his licence had expired.
The person went on to name and tag Mumbai police in his post. the user stated “Mumbai Police, Please take strict action on Ranveer Singh. Insurance Failed car he drove yesterday!!”. According to a photo shared on social media, the date on Ranveer’s licence plate is June 28, 2020.
According to a media report, Mumbai Police reacted to the user’s tweet by stating that they have notified the traffic police of the change. However, the actor has remained silent.
Later, it was discovered that his vehicle’s licence plate was not expired, and the claim placed on it was a forgery. According to media sources, as soon as the traffic police received the facts, Ranveer’s admirers began ridiculing the person who filed the complaint. When the user realised the expired licence news was incorrect, he removed his tweet and apologised to the actor on microblogging.
