Varun Dhavan remembers Sidharth Shukla As ‘Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania’ completes 8 Years, Alia also reacts

Sidharth Shukla made his Bollywood debut with Shashank Khaitan’s “Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhaniya,” making him well-known for his time on shows like “Balika Vadhu,” “Dil Se Dil Tak,” and “Bigg Boss 13.” Sidharth played a minor character in the Varun Dhawan and Alia Bhatt movie. On July 11, the film will have been in theatres for eight years. Varun recalled the late actor calling him “kind-hearted” and “protecting.” The actor shared emotional messages and previously unseen photos of him and Sidharth having fun.

Varun posted two old pictures on his Twitter account. He, Alia, and Sidharth were smiling in the first picture as they took a selfie. Another image showed Varun and Sidharth Shukla sitting at a table while beaming brightly. The Student of the Year actor posted these cherished recollections on his blog, saying, “8 years of #humptysharmakidhulania was a really special film but today I remember it for the time I got to spend with Sid shooting the film. Alia Bhatt notably reposted the image on her Instagram stories along with multiple red heart emoticons.

The director, Shashank Khaitan, also traveled back in time and composed a lengthy note while recalling past filming dates. The director listed the several events that have happened over the previous eight years, including “Varun got married, Karan Johar had babies, Alia got married and is having a baby, we suffered with Covid, and last but not least, Sidharth Shukla left us for a better place.”

Sidharth Shukla passed away from a heart attack in September of last year at the age of 40. His mother and two sisters are still alive.
