HBD Ranbir Kapoor: 39 Years ago, a star was born, to prove himself gracefully on the big screens!

Ranbir Kapoor has seen lots of ups and downs in his entire acting career so far. With hits and flops, he has tasted both success and failure equally. The Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani actor’s journey in Bollywood can be best defined by his hit dialogue, “ Mai udna chahta hoon, daudna chahta hoon, girna bhi chahta hoon, bus rukna nahi chahta.”  We can see that he dreams of flying, running, and is even ready to fall, but doesn’t want to stop achieving more through his actions.

Our Brahmastra star turns 40 today, and he has achieved a lot in his Bollywood career. He has been a part of some highly praised hit films like Barfi, Jagga Jasoos, Rock Star, Tamasha, YJHD, Wake Up Sid, Sanju, and many more.

Do you know what makes him a true superstar?

In his 15-year Bollywood career, he has done some great movies (mentioned above), but he has also delivered flops. A flop film gets enough attention to blame the actor, and that’s what happened to him a lot of times. People have blamed him many times for his wrong choices of movies. Amid all this, what they failed to notice is his brilliant acting skills.

In contrast to other celebrities, Ranbir has always tried out different roles so as to deliver something new to his audience each time. If you look at his filmography, you will notice that he has experimented in almost every film where his character differs completely.

Take films like Wake Up Sid, Rocket Singh, Rockstar, Bombay Velvet, Tamasha, and Jagga Jasoos as an example. While this list has both hits and flops, we can clearly notice his talent as a versatile actor.

Now, look at Ajab Prem Ki Gajab Kahani, Rajneeti, YJHD, and Ae Dil Hai Mushkil, which appealed to a mainstream audience. Ranbir has aced his character here as well with his impeccable acting skills.

Yes, movies do flop! But he isn’t to blame for that as the problem is with the taste of the audience, who are less focused on good content and more focused on action and drama.

On his birthday, let us look at some of the amazing characters played by him in his whole career graph.

Ranbir Kapoor received the best actor award for Barfi

You won’t doubt his acting talent if you have watched Barfi, where he played the character of a dumb and deaf man, still a lively guy. His performance was so good that he got the award for best actor for this movie.

This one is another great film he did. Ranbir nailed his character as JJ, and you’d never know he wasn’t singing in the scenes.

What an expression! Have you seen Ranbir Kapoor in Ae Dil Hai Mushkil?

This is another film which shows the power of his expressions. Ranbir has performed the emotional scenes so beautifully that we can all feel them.

He was just amazing in YJHD

In Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani, his character Bunny is totally on point. The depiction of a jolly, ambitious, easygoing and emotional character is picture-perfect just because of his superb acting.

Ranbir Kapoor as Jagga Jasoos was magnificent

We have to say that he did something unusual in Jagga Jassos as well. His role in the film was simply great, and not everyone can do it.

Ranbir Kapoor brought life to Sanjay Dutt’s character, which appeared so real

We can never forget to count on his work in Sanju. It is among the most memorable roles the actor has played on screen so far. You can’t stop praising him if you watch his looks, voice and dialogue, body language, and expressions. They fit very well with the character. We think no other actor could have been able to play Sanjay Dutt with this level of perfection.

Right now, the actor is enjoying the success of his latest film ‘Brahmastra’ which is an introduction to India’s first original cinematic universe, Astraverse. This takes Ranbir to a whole new level as an actor.

We wish him a very happy birthday!
