It’s World Tourism Day, a special day for every travel enthusiast and we have a Bollywood connection to it. Even if you aren’t much into travelling, we all know it’s necessary. Life is only once and we have got to visit different places, make memories and live our life to the fullest. I am someone who just falls in love with beautiful locations in the movie rather than its story. What about you?

This Hrithik Roshan starrer is my all-time favourite and I guess it’s not just me, it’s the same with you. I have watched it so many times that I can’t even count and I never got tired of it. Three besties, an amazing road trip, what else?
Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara is about three friends who decided to go on a bachelor trip to Spain. They made a plan during their college to get rid of their fear. The movie will inspire you to plan a vacation to Spain, a road trip from Barcelona to Costa Brava to Seville to Bunol to Pamplona and enjoy the popular La Tomatina Festival. That’s all? Well, No! Deep Sea diving, sky diving and bull are some adventures that this trip may bring for you.
Queen
Kangana Ranaut has aced her character with superb performance, but what attracts me more as a traveller is the gorgeous locations of Paris. This 2013 film inspires every girl out there to head for a solo trip even if she has no companion, dropping her fears.
Rani played by Kangana Ranaut fell in love with herself while walking around the beautiful streets of Paris and Amsterdam. The film has presented the idea of a solo trip with so much perfection and is a chance to discover your true self if you follow it.
Chennai Express
Being a desi, you can’t forget your own nation and Chenna Express’ beautiful locations prove that. This one is iconic as it will take you on an outstanding journey from Mumbai to Rameshwaram. Deepika and Shah Rukh are seen travelling by train and road from Mumbai to Rameshwaram as they stop at some amazing places on their way.
You will watch some breathtakingly beautiful places such as Dudhsagar falls in Goa, Kerala’s rolling tea gardens, small town Pollachi in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu situated in Vattamalai temple and many more.

In the end, you also get a chance to know the culture of Punjab as it takes you to Punjab’s ancient town – Noor Mahal.
