Yuvika Chaudhary is a popular Bollywood actress who hails from Baraut in UP in a middle class family. She was born on 2nd of August 1983 in the said city of Uttar Pradesh. Her father was a teacher by profession, while she is the eldest in her family with one younger sibling in the form of Akash. During her school and college, she was very much active in social and cultural programs, which made her pursue to this line. Soon when she realized that she had to enter in this field, she spied for opportunities till she got the chance to participate in Zee Cine Stars Ki Khoj in 2004.
This gave her the popular TV serial called Astitva.. Ek Prem Kahani, wherein she had played the character of Aastha. She then got the chance to do an endorsement for the brand Coke along with Kunal Kapoor. Farah Khan was seen spotting her for her direction debut film called Om Shanti Om. The film was a hug hit, which gave her another called Summer 2007 and Toh Baat Pakki. Since then it was no looking back for her and finally in 2011, she was seen appearing in Naughty @ 40 wherein she played her debut lead role opposite Govinda. She then did another movie called Khap along with Manoj Pahwa. In Enemmy aos, she was seen acting opposite to Kay Kay Menon.
In 2013, she got the chance to work with Sunil Shetty in the film Afratafri, while in 2014, she got another movie The Shaukeens along with Akshay Kumar and three oldies – Piyush Sharma, Anupam Kher and Annu Kapoor. Her upcoming film is Yaarana, which is yet to release though was scheduled to hit the theatres on 24th April. Besides, she also acted in south Indian films including the Kananada called Maleyali Jotheyali in 2009 opposite the actor Ganesh in the lead character. As per the recent buzz, she is one of the hot contestants of Bigg Boss 9.
