If you often feel sleep deprive that the condition should not be taken lightly; if the condition is chronic it demands immediate medicine for sleeplessness. If it is not, then there are plenty of home remedies you could bring to your use immediately. One of the most trusted cures to induce sleep is clove oil. Clove or laung are considered to be the best remedy
for sound sleep.

You can apply clove oil by mixing four drops in salt on your forehead and you would feel instant relief from any discomfort. This will enable you to sleep better.

Else you can try to apply some worm clove oil along with sesame oil on the forehead, right before bedtime, and have a sound sleep.

No Indian kitchen is complete without cloves or laung; they have shared a prominent place in Ayurveda and ancient Chinese medicine.

The pungent herb is known to treat nausea, digestive disorders and flu. While clove is essentially a winter spice and the shelf life of the herb is long, you can store the herb all through the year and make yourself some clove oil at home itself.

In addition to helping you sleep better, clove’s active compounds and anti-inflammatory effects help soothe head-aches, muscle pain, and joint pains. It is also effective in healing colds and flu. All of these factors often come in way of good sleep too.

If you do not have clove oil around, you can also brew yourself some clove tea at home and drink it before you go to sleep. Take one teaspoon of clove and grind it coarsely. Now, add a pinch of this powder to a cup of water. Allow it to boil for 5-10 minutes. Strain it and drink. You can add a teaspoon of honey to the tea too. Make sure you add honey after you are done boiling. It is a good idea to keep a window of one, one, and a half hours between drinking this tea and your bedtime.
