Chhello Show Gujarati Movie Review, Released Date, Cast List, Director: Pan Nalin

Chhello Show Movie:

Samay loved watching movies and has to become a filmmaker in the future. He comes cinema for the day to watch more films and even befriends projectionist Fazal (Bhavesh Shrimali). And he gives the film to watch for free, in exchange for his lunch box. So, the only movie he took Samay to see in a theatre was a devotional movie. Little did he know, though, that this would start a lifelong relationship between his son and movies. The movie was just the start. Samay is completely mesmerized by the shimmering light coming from the projection room. So much so that when he finally has a chance to view it up close, he is amazed by it. Later, after a break, when he is reunited with the projector, he even goes so far as to give it a hug.

He was so obsessed with watching movies that he stole money to do so, lied to his family, skipped lessons, and got kicked out of the theatre after taking a two-hour train ride to get there. But along the way, he becomes good friends with Fazal, the projectionist who worked at the movie theatre. He likes to breathe in the world of films but his father is against cinema because he believes that it corrupts people.

Samay’s story in Chhello Show is partially autobiographical because Pan Nalin was the basis for it. Pan Nalin’s father also sold tea at the train station, much like Samay’s father did. In addition, Nalin stole movie reels, made friends with a projectionist, and saw movies in exchange for his mother’s delectable Kathiawadi food.

In 2010, when Chhello Show is set, digital projection mostly supplanted 35mm film in India and most other nations, signaling the end of an era. However, Samay’s passion for movies didn’t begin with this. The destruction, recycling, and creation of new objects from the projector machine and the film reels were devastating for him, and it also signaled the beginning of his quest to understand cinema. It also showed how something dying gives birth to something new.

The audience will be moved by his performance and innocent demeanor. Manu, played by Rahul Koli, left his impact as Samay’s companion. The young actor just died after a protracted fight with cancer.

Chhello Show Movie Verdict:

Chhello Show is a really engrossing show that was shot in actual places. Despite having sections without conversation, it manages to maintain viewers’ attention. The movie’s colors are incredibly captivating. Everything featured a variety of colors, including Samay’s colorful glasses as he prepared supper with his mother. You nearly feel hungry just looking at the food being prepared from above!

The movie Chhello Show is Pan Nalin’s homage to cinema, and it should be seen in a theatre. It is romanticizing its one muse, cinema, in the finest way imaginable, much like poetry that has been written with love.
