This year, OTT served us well, but there were a few series and movies that made us cry in anguish. We were overcome with remorse and regret as we watched them. Gehraiyaan
Gehraiyaan is a story about love, marriage, infidelity, and betrayal that follows the lives of two couples who are having an extramarital affair. Alisha (Deepika Padukone) and Zain (Siddharth Chaturvedi) are two persons who fall in love with one other while being married to other people. What begins as a fling quickly turns into a convoluted disaster that threatens to ruin numerous lives. Ananya Pandey and Dhairya Karwan also appear in the film.
36 Farmhouse
36 Farmhouse, a film, was released earlier this year on Zee5. Subhash Ghai wrote and produced the film.
Plan A Plan B
Plan A Plan B, starring Riteish Deshmukh and Tamannaah Bhatia, is now available on Netflix. This Shashanka Ghosh-directed film has a 4.6/10 rating on IMDb.
Cuttputlli
Akshay Kumar had a bad year in 2022. His four films failed to create an impact at the box office, and even his OTT release Cuttputlli was met with mixed reviews. The film was a remake of the Tamil film Ratsasan, and it was released on Disney+ Hotstar with a rating of 5.8/10 on IMDb.
Runway 34
The title is based on real events from a 2015 Jet Doha aircraft heading for Kochi, which experienced a difficult landing owing to inclement weather. The plot centres around a skillful pilot who, despite adverse weather circumstances, protects the safety of his passengers and his aircraft. He is then confronted with a legal battle in which he must demonstrate his abilities and expertise. Ajay Devgn, Amitabh Bachchan, Boman Irani, Rakul Preet Singh, Aakanksha Singh, and others play significant parts in the film.
