Bigg Boss Himanshi Khurana to  Koena Mitra These contestants suffered from depression and regretted doing the show

Bigg Boss is wonderfully engaging the audience since the first season. The audience has seen everything, from the brutal clashes between candidates to their love and camaraderie as well as numerous controversies, eccentricities, and insecurities. Few candidates have faced difficulties with mental health during the course of the reality show.

Here’s taking a look at Bigg Boss contestants who suffered from depression and regretted doing the show.

Shamita Shetty:

Shamita Shetty, a finalist on BB 15, also discussed her experience with anxiousness. She said in an interview with Siddharth Kannan that the Bigg Boss house made her more anxious.

 Koena Mitra

Koena Mitra, a competitor on Bigg Boss 13, deeply regretted taking part in the competition.

Himanshi Khurana

Himanshi Khurana discussed her experience with depression following her time on Bigg Boss 13. For falling in love with Asim Riaz and breaking off her engagement, the actress is subject to a lot of criticism and judgment. She mentioned having heart problems and panic episodes in the most recent interview.

Eijaz Khan

The Bigg Boss 14 contestant mentioned how he preferred alone and disliked being around people. He felt that after coming out of BB, he did not come out of mental illness. There are many times I am still scared of being alone and sometimes, I am scared of myself.”

Afsana Khan

Singer Afsana Khan suffered a horrific panic attack while arguing with another participant. The singer threatened other candidates with a knife after this confrontation, which escalated into a far more dangerous situation. She was asked to leave the reality show after the incident, but the other housemates continued to think about her health issues.

Arti Singh

Actor and a former contestant Arti Singh has a panic attack following a heated discussion with another participant. The actress was outspoken about her mental health and previously battling depression while she was on the reality show.

Nimrit Kaur Ahluwalia

As someone who suffers from depression, Nimrit Kaur Ahluwalia frequently breaks down on the show, which only serves as further evidence that her involvement in BB 16 is not helping.

We are happy that these Bigg Boss contestants discussed their struggles and helped to normalize the conversation about mental health because it takes a lot of courage to open up in front of the public.
