Actor Akshay Kumar entered the Star Plus weekend show, Ravivaar with Star Parivaar and made the actress, her rakhi sister. Rupali will be seen tying a holy thread of rakhi to the star and will also narrate her first meeting with Akshay.

The Bachchan Paandet actor will be visiting the show this weekend episode to promote his latest movie ‘Raksha Bandhan’. While both of them celebrate, Rupali lovingly calls him her rakhi brother.

Rupali says, “I and Akshay bro go back. We are siblings, he is my rakhi bro. We lost contact when he rose to fame. Later, it felt a bit awkward to stay in touch.”

When asked about her first meeting with the superstar, she said, “I was tying Rakhi to him since 1992 and today I am fortunate to see him in front of me again and tying another rakhi. This is all because of this show. Thanks a lot to them. “

Talking about the show, Ravivaar with Star Parivaar is a weekend show where families from all the daily dramas on the channel get together and compete with each other. They play several games and try out different fun activities such as singing, dancing, and many more. The team that wins is rewarded with the ‘Best Parivaar ‘ title.
