Vikram: Kamal Hassan and Vijay Sethupathi kick-start the shooting of Lokesh Kanagaraj’s next

The shooting of Kamal Haasan’s much-awaited film Vikram, began in Chennai on July 16. The film’s production firm Raaj Kamal Films International has shared a series of photographs from the set on Twitter.

In the pictures, we can see the Director of the film Lokesh Kanagaraj Director Lokesh Kanagaraj interacting with Kamal Haasan and Vijay Sethupathi. Apart from starring in the film, Kamal is also producing the film, which is described as an out-and-out action spectacle. Reportedly Fahadh Faasil will join the set soon.

Talking about the film’s first look, it was unveiled a week ago. Featuring Kamal Haasan, Vijay Sethupathi and Fahadh Faasil as battle-hardened soldiers who were no strangers to blood and brutality. The movie also stars Antony Varghese, Narain and Arjun Das among others. As per reports if everything goes as per the plan, the movie will be released in cinemas next year.

Meanwhile, on the professional front, Kamal Hassan’s Indian 2 is still under production for over a year now. And the big-budget project’s fate is still undetermined.

Vijay Sethupathi has several projects lined up for him. His films Tughlaq Durbar and Laabam, may be released on OTT. He will also be seen in an upcoming romantic comedy Kaathu Vaakula Rendu Kaadhal, Vetri Maaran’s political thriller Viduthalai, and Santosh Sivan’s Hindi feature Mumbaikar.
