The prequel for the Commando franchise hit the screens way back in 2013. It had Vidyut Jammwal in the lead role and the film appeared to be a big hit at the box office. The makers then embarked upon the second film Commando 2 in 2017 and once again the action thriller helped the makers to earn big at the box office. So, with two big films already hit for the franchise, the makers now plan to come out with the third part as well.
The producer Vipul Shah has signed Vidyut Jammwal for the Commando 3. This time they want to bring the actor opposite Adah Sharma in the lead role. The sources close to the makers have confirmed saying that Vipul Shah has got the consent from Jammwal and Sharma for the third part. When asked about the subject of the film, the sources had nothing much to share except saying that the third part would be similar to the previous two parts.
The sources claim that the script for the third part has two actresses and has been finalised with Aadah Sharma, while for the second, the makers are hunting for the right girl. The makers are yet to make an official announcement, however, if you believe the reports, the makers are coming out with the third part and it will be directed by Aditya Dhar. He is the same man who has directed the film Uri The Surgical Strike starring Vicky Kaushal and Yami Gautam in the lead role. Stay tuned to know more about this film and others only with us.
