Updates on Teen , Do lafzon ki kahaani , Housefull 3 Collection
There has been an extraordinary start for Teen in the box office . This was very much expected though since it was pretty much on the cards that this was going to be a word of mouth affair. If we see through that prospective , the film did see some traction coming its way as the evening and night shows commenced. Though the overall occupancy for the day reached upto 30%-40% mark, the increase in footfalls as the day passed has given the film a chance to see an escalation over the weekend
The film collected 2.61 crore on furst day. If this number would be a little high , it would have made this Sujoy Ghosh production breathe a little better, it would be interesting to see how far does this film go from this point on. It has been said, the collections are lesser than Amitabh Bachchan’s last movie Wazir which belonged to the same genre and incidentally had its base in the similar premise
Do lafzon ki kahaani , other release of the week , arrived on a lesser number of screens than TE3N. The movie starring Randeep Hooda and Kajal entirely depended in the word of mouth since getting a decent opening number was always going to be a challenge. There wasn’t much to be happy for the makers though as the film collected only around 1 crore* on its opening day. The reviews for the film are not much fine at best, though it’s action and music have been appreciated. It is going to be a hard way ahead for this movie.
Meanwhile, the second week collection for Housefull 3 has been decent . With 3.50 crore more coming in, the total collection for the film till now is 83.60 crores crore at the box office. The film should see some good push today and tomorrow which will see it come further close to the 100 crore mark.
