Anil Kapoor stated, “While we all were thinking of a name, Harsh suggested Shreya’s name and persuaded us to bring her onboard as a cinematographer of our film, Thar. He had full trust in her skills and capabilities. When we watched her black and white Bengali movie, we realized that she is the correct choice for the position. And finally, she did a great job. I congratulate Shreya on this win. She deserved this award. “

Let us tell you, Thar emerged as the winner of this international award by defeating competitors from Singapore, Japan, Indonesia, Malaysia, Taiwan, Vietnam, Hong Kong and Thailand. The film had a lot of impact before this too. It received nominations for Best Film, and Web Original at OTT Filmfare awards, the results of which are still awaited.
