Amyra with her brilliant performances in the web series by Ali Abbas Zafar on Amazon Prime is back in the news. She has bagged yet another bigwig project in B Town with Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani as her producer for their next film called Dongri To Dubai. The film is produced under their production banner called Excel Entertainment and it has Shujaat Saudagar the Rock on 2 fame director who would be taking care of the filmmaking idea.
It was Amyra who confirmed this news with a smile. Speaking about the same, she said she got this offer the usual way as got the others. One day she got a call from the casting director without naming the project or the makers for an audition. She then went for the audition and got the dialogues of the scene. She added that she gave the best in the audition and returned home. She then got a call after a few days for the same and finally ended up getting the project.
She then got the other details about the makers and the project which after liking them all gave her confirmation. The film is inspired by a book called Dongri to Dubai: Six Decades of the Mumbai Mafia’ by Hussain Zaidi. It was used to make a web series revolving the life of Dawood Ibrahim giving the insight of his life. When the lady was further asked about the venture, she did not share saying that she has the role of a Parsi girl in the web series. She further said that she liked the character and content of the film that made her confirm this project. The film will showcase Bombay city of the seventies and eighties.
