As Sidharth Malhotra wrapped up the shoot for his film based on Captain Vikram Batra which is a biopic titled Shershaah, he is now gearing up for the next. As per reports, the actor has confirmed the remake of Tamil murder mystery called Thadam. The film has now brought Bhushan Kumar and Murad Khetani once again after the duo’s previous hit film Kabir Singh. The film will be an action thriller which is inspired by some true events having Sidharth Malhotra in the lead role.
The makers are currently busy with their film Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 with Kartik Aaryan and Kiara Advani with Sandeep Reddy Vanga as its director. They are gearing up to release the said movie in July. Once they are free with this film, they will start the work of Thadam remake with Sidharth Malhotra. And if things go well, the actor is expected to see the film hitting the screens in November 2020. Sid is expected to play a dual role in it, while it will also have Vardhan Ketkar as the director of the movie.
Sidharth who has been part of several action films before would be seen in very different kind of roles. The movie is all set to be shot in the National Capital and is likely to hit the floor in the month of May. Currently, the crew is looking out for some decent locations. While talking about the remake script, Bhushan Kumar said it is always a pleasure working with Murad and when he first heard about the script, it was an instant yes from him.
