As the most awaited trailer of the film Sooryavanshi hit the media two days back, it turned an instant hit. The trailer broke all the records emerging out the highest viewed trailer so far in Bollywood. During the trailer launch, Rohit Shetty disclosed many interesting facts about the film and the way it was made. He applauded the efforts of Mumbai Police and shared how they have helped them to complete the shoot on time.
While talking about the same, Rohit Shetty said that the cops cooperated a lot in finding out some of the best and live locations in areas like Bandra Worli Sea Link, and Lower Parel flyover. He talked about shooting a scene over Lower Parel flyover with the police convoy that required permission from BMC. He applauded the cops the way they managed the crowd, which made things easy for them to shoot.
While talking about the film, he said he did a couple of cop based films earlier but for this, he had to research a lot. He then gave the credit to Mumbai Police to helping them get the uniforms as required to wear in the movie as per their designation. The police also helped them understand the technical process, which often is followed in ATS. We see Akshay Kumar playing the character of Veer Sooryavanshi in the film who is the ATS Chief. The film also has Katrina Kaif in the leading lady’s role, while Ajay Devgn and Ranveer Singh would be seen in the role of cameos. The film is hitting on 24th March 2020.
