As the film Saand Ki Aankh starring Taapsee Pannu & Bhumi Pednekar is going to hit the screens, we have some good news for the makers. The CM of Rajasthan Mr. Ashok Gehlot has made the film tax free. He was approached to exempt the state Goods and Services Tax €or GST from the said movie while it hits the screen in the state both in the multiplexes and single screens in the state.
The film talks about the story of two elderly women played by the said actresses called Cahndro Tomar and Prakashi Tomar from one of the villages of the Indian state called UP. The two have been having a tough time learning the art of shooting. Their efforts then helped them to achieve a big success in this sport allowing them to participate in several shooting competitions making their village, state and country proud of them.
The film is based on real-life stories of two women shooting champions. This soon helped the state encourage young and old ladies from different UP states to come front and participate in sports and gain self-confidence. Since the film talks about women empowerment and kicking off some changes in social mindset. The Raj state CM was quick to approve the request of the makers to make it tax-free. The film has Tushar Hiranandani as its director, while Anurag Kashyap is producing the film. It also has Vineet Singh and Prakash Jha in the lead roles. The film will release on 25th November.
