Sunny Leone’s horror comedy Chudail expected to clash with Sidharth Malhotra-Tamannaah Bhatia’s The Vvaan; producer Mahendra Dhariwal also confirms Maa Tujhhe Salaam 2 is in the pipeline
Sunny Leone is set to return to the big screen with her upcoming horror comedy titled Chudail. Recent updates reveal that the film is eyeing a major theatrical release by the end of September. According to producer Mahendra Dhariwal, the team aims to capitalize on the audience’s growing appetite for horror films.
Because of its planned timeline, Chudail is expected to clash at the box office with The Vvaan, starring Sidharth Malhotra and Tamannaah Bhatia, which is slated to arrive in theaters on September 25.
Directed by T L V Prasad, Chudail features Mandana Karimi as the primary antagonist opposite Sunny Leone. The ensemble cast also includes Rahul Dev, Dev Gill, popular South comedian Brahmanandam, and Sunil. Alongside Mahendra Dhariwal, the movie is co-produced by Rocky Sandhu and Paramveer Sandhu.
Beyond Chudail, the producer trio is collaborating on a high-budget mythological film driven by AI technology, titled Mahadev Ki Mahima. Dhariwal shared that the project is being envisioned on an ambitious scale with a massive budget of ₹150 crore. Additionally, Dhariwal confirmed that Maa Tujhhe Salaam 2, a sequel to Sunny Deol’s 2002 patriotic action hit, remains actively in development. Designed to bring high-stakes drama back to theaters, the sequel builds on the legacy of the original film.
