“We then started shooting, but when he went for it, I started to get hurt. I didn’t tell him, and he kept apologizing and asking if I was okay. I told him it was nothing, and we continued shooting. After the shots, I went to my vanity to change and I saw a huge bruise on my hand. That’s when it hit me that as actors, we put ourselves through a lot for the quality of our work,” she added.
Travelling at warp speed, the new clip shows Captain Burnham pursuing Moll and L’ak by holding onto their starship. She is aided by Captain Rayner, who locks in a tractor beam in the intense high-octane sequence. Burnham gets just enough time to get out before her warp protection disintegrates. The spacefarers and explorers must now become fighters, as the ancient evil has risen once again after being hidden for centuries for sinister purposes that are not yet known.
But there are other dangerous new foes on the hunt as well. They are ruthless and without mercy. They are motivated by desperation and their own ugly motivations. They want to claim the prize for themselves and will stop at nothing to get it, no matter how much blood they have to spill.
Apart from the dangerous hunters on their tail, Captain Burnham and Captain Raymer also have to deal with their own emotional conflicts. They don’t always see eye to eye and have different ways of dealing with things. But circumstances have forced them to work together. The Comic Con concluded with a trailer for the upcoming musical episode of Star Trek: Strange New Worlds, which is currently streaming its second season.
