Happy Birthday Deepika Chikhalia, the Ramanayan Actress Turned 55 Today
Deepika Chikhalia has been making news for a few days ever since we saw her coming on The Kapil Sharma Show with Arun Govil and other actors. Since then she has been making news for one reason or the other. When the Lockdown was announced, the IB Ministry came out with a mega TV show by Ramanand Sagar called Ramanayan for the people to get entertained while staying at home.Â
Since then she was seen tweeting and posting on her social media accounts and was therefore seen trending high. Today, she has all the reasons to be remembered as she celebrates her 56th birthday today. So a very happy and prosperous birthday to the Sita of the TV show that ruled the late eighties in the small screen world. She made her debut in 1983 with the film Sun Meri Laila which was a big hit. Since then it was no looking back for the actress as she got films like Kala Dhandha Gore Log, Bhagwan Dada and Duri to name a few.
In 1987 she bagged the TV show called Ramanayan playing Sita in it. She turned into a household lady with the said show. Ever she played the role of Sita in the said show, she has maintained her decorum and never appeared on any film or TV show with small outfits. She was seen active in Politics and even contested elections under the BJP Ticket. Talking about her personal life, she got married to Hemant Topiwala who owns Cosmetic brand in Mumbai and the couple has two daughters.
