Sidharth Shukla birth anniversary: From winning the book of the world’s best model to winning the Bigg Boss 13 trophy, ruling millions of hearts

Late television actor and model Sidharth Shukla who breathed his last on 2nd December 2021 would have turned 42 today. Even though the actor said goodbye to the world, people still remember him from the heart. Today is his birth anniversary and let’s see his journey on this special day.

Since his childhood, the actor has adored and cherished creations. He opted to study interior design and seek a career in the sector. Sidharth earned his bachelor’s degree in interior design at Rachana Sansa.

The late actor’s attractive appearance and chiselled frame propelled him into the world of modelling. In 2004, he competed in the Gladrags Manhunt and Mega Model Contest, which launched his career. After being named the competition’s runner-up, he represented India in the World’s Best Model competition, which was held in Turkey. He defeated 40 competitors in the competition’s grand finale to win the prize.

The actor made his television debut in the program Babul Ka Aangann Chootey Na. However, he rose to fame with his TV drama Balika Vadhu and was well-liked for his portrayal of Shiv. He has also appeared in a number of popular TV programs, including Dil Se Dil Tak, Love You Zindagi, Jaane Pehchaane Se… Yeh Ajnabi, and others.

Following his success on the small screen, Karan Johar gave him a role in the Bollywood film Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania. After seeing his performance in Jhalak Dikhlaa Jaa, Karan decided to offer him his first big break. He made his Bollywood debut and earned positive feedback. Sidharth portrayed Alia’s groom, who was eventually rejected by her for the major part of the film.

With Khatron Ke Khiladi 7, the actor made his reality show debut. Fans adored his genuine demeanour and sense of humour as much as his on-screen personality. Sidharth took part in the stunt-based reality program and demonstrated his daring side. In 2016, the actor won Fear Factor: Khatron Ke Khiladi 7. Later, he was chosen to anchor India’s Got Talent alongside star comedian Bharti Singh.

After Bigg Boss 13, Sidharth Shukla appeared in various popular music videos and TV series. He performed as a guest on Dance Deewane 3 alongside close friend Shehnaaz Gill just a few days before his tragic death. The news of Sidharth hosting Roadies broke just before his death.
