Ibrahim Ali Khan Returns with Sarzameen on OTT, an Action Thriller Directed by Kayoze Irani

Months after facing harsh criticism for his debut film Nadaaniyan, Saif Ali Khan’s son and actor Ibrahim Ali Khan has made his digital comeback with his second film, Sarzameen. The action thriller marks the directorial debut of Boman Irani’s son, Kayoze Irani, and features Kajol and Prithviraj Sukumaran in lead roles. The trailer reveals Kajol playing the wife of an army officer portrayed by Prithviraj, while Ibrahim plays their son, who appears to have taken a dark turn and become a terrorist. Released today on OTT platforms, Sarzameen has received mixed early reviews, with many calling it a one-time watch.

#Sarzameen had a solid premise but failed to deliver. Weak screenplay and direction let it down. Prithvi, Kajol & the rest of the cast did well, but there was no real emotional connect. Overall, a mid watch with no standout moments.
