Shark Tank India 2: Viewers’ questioning the show’s logic as sharks reject the make-up brand’s pitch for a silly reason
Shark Tank India 2 started airing on Sony TV yesterday, January 2 with some attractive pitches enjoyed by the audience. While the sharks Anupam Mittal, Aman Gupta, Vineeta singh, Namita Thapar, and Peyush Bansal funded some companies, they rejected others. Among these pitchers, there was a make-up brand that was rejected for a crazy reason. Viewers are disappointed after watching the episode and questioning the show’s logic.
The reason for their rejection was they were the competitor of sharks’ friend Vineeta Singh, who also belongs to the same industry.

Rahul Sachdeva and Dheeraj Bansal appeared in the show to pitch their make-up product collections. Vineeta Singh, the CEO of Sugar Cosmetics told them, “LET ME CLEAR THIS, MAI ISS INDUSTRY KI GUNDI NAHI HOON.”
After this, Namita Thapar and Aman Gupta rejected their pitch saying, “We won’t invest in a company which is supposed to be our friend Vineeta’s competitor.”
Rahul and Dheeraj then amazed the sharks with their journey of becoming an entrepreneur and starting their own company. The sharks seemed to like their profitability and marketing plan. However, Aman Gupta pointed out a fault in one of the products from the brand’s packaging. He, including everyone, praised the duo for their impressive efforts. Later, Peyush Bansal and Aman Gupta also rejected them.
After watching the episode, viewers feel that the two deserved a chance to be a promising brand and rejecting them based on ‘friendship’ is extremely unfair. “
