Its been five days for the Salman Khan starrer film Dabangg 3 to release and the film has now entered into the 100 Crore Club. With around 78 Crores of the collection at the box office, the movie has managed to get 10.70 Crores on Monday and 12 Crores on Tuesday making the total collection in five days to be around 103. 85 Crores at the box office. The film has faired up in terms of collection on Sunday as it remained a bit hampered on Friday and Saturday with the protests against CAA and NRC was on peak in the country.
However, the first Sunday the collection went up raising hopes for the makers that the film would do well at the box office soon. Hence it was inevitable to see the film to enter into the 100 Crore club soon. With stable collections on Monday and Tuesday, the movie entered into the 100 Crore club with ease. And Wednesday being a holiday on the eve of Christmas, it would attract a good collection somewhere close to 25 to 30 Crores.
Thus with the end of the first week, the film is likely to come closer to 150 Crores. However, with the Akshay Kumar and Kareena Kapoor starrer film Good Newwz hitting the screens this Friday, the third installment of Salman Khan and Sonakshi Sinha would suffer in terms of the collection with the comedy film emerging as a rival to some extent. Nonetheless, the film would be coming closer to 200 Crores by the end of the 2nd-weekend collection. Well, let’s see how things would move, but at the moment the picture for comedy action thriller film seems rosy.
