Shah Rukh Khan’s Upcoming Film King Gains Excitement with New Cast Confirmations

In 2023, Shah Rukh Khan made a significant mark at the box office with three consecutive blockbusters: Pathaan, Jawan, and Dunki. Now, anticipation is building for his upcoming film titled King. While Saurabh Shukla had previously confirmed his involvement, actor Jaideep Ahlawat has also revealed in an interview with Lallantop that he is part of the project.
Jaideep Ahlawat shared details about how he joined the film, stating, “SRK sir had been contemplating this for quite some time, as far as I know. However, Siddharth Anand was a bit hesitant to offer a small role after Jewel Thief. But Khan saab, being Khan saab, said, ‘I’ll talk to him.’ Now, who could say no to him?”
He went on to express his admiration for Shah Rukh Khan, saying, “I really like him. In all my interactions with him—about five to seven times, starting from Raees, where I shot with him for four to five days—he always made me feel like I was the closest person to him. He’s a wonderful human being, with some amazing qualities. Every time I’ve met him, he’s made me feel important.”
For those unaware, Jaideep Ahlawat played the main antagonist in Siddharth Anand’s Jewel Thief, which starred Saif Ali Khan in the lead role. He received acclaim for both his powerful performance and impressive dance moves. The film is currently available for streaming on Netflix.
King, directed by Siddharth Anand, also features Suhana Khan and Saurabh Shukla in significant roles. Reports suggest that Deepika Padukone, Rani Mukerji, Abhishek Bachchan, Jackie Shroff, Raghav Juyal, and Anil Kapoor may also be part of the cast, although no official confirmation has been made yet. The film is currently in production, with the release date yet to be announced. Stay tuned to know more about the film and others only with us.
