Joining the league of the upcoming web series world, another addition coming in the globe is SCRiBBLES. The series joins in the three popular NYC theatre artists namely, Lynnsey Ooten, Brandon Garegnani, and Jeane Reveendran. This award-winning web series, SCRiBBLES will be screening on the coming May 9 and 12 at the NYC Indie Film Festival.

However, the online release of the first season of the series will be followed on May 13 uncovering its 4 episodes that will be airing every Monday. SCRiBBLES revolve around the story of a depressed illustrator who has been pushed towards the edge of sanity. This beautifully portrays the specificity that the prime character has to face with his latest drawing transforming into life and making him to face the demons.

Talking about the show, Lynnsey Ooten shared his opinion on News18 platform mentioning, “It’s a dark comedy with fantastical elements that explores artistic inspiration, depression and how creativity is linked to wellness. SCRiBBLES vibrantly echoes the artist’s need for expression and that, hidden within the grey areas of our pain, there is exuberant color waiting to be liberated. Confronting the darkest part of ourselves is often where we find the light.”

The screenings and online releases will be marking the beginning of SCRiBBLES’ festival run. Apart from its screening into the NYC Indie Film Fest, SCRiBBLES has also been officially selected for multiple other festivals like- Minnesota WebFest and Big Apple Film Festival. It has been casted as the Best Web Series in most of these festivals.
