Sarfaraz Khan is a Hindi actor who has acted in movies like Wanted, Tere Naam and Once Upon A Time In Mumbai and few others. The 38 year old actor is the son of well known actor, script and dialogue writer Kader Khan. Kader Khan has acted in over 300 films in Hindi as a villain, father and comedian. Sarfaraz made his debut with the movie Kya Yehi Pyar Hain in 2002. Over the years, he has essayed minor roles in various films.
He began his career with a modest role in Amisha Patel and Aftab Shivdasani starrer, Kya Yehi Pyar Hain which bombed at the box office. His next venture came in the Sohail Khan’s production Maine Dil Tujhko Diya . The actor played roles that were small but significant and the actor proved his talent in them. His major role came in the film Tere Naam which was a major blockbuster of its time. When Salmaan Khan played the role of Radhe, who is devastated in love, Sarfaraz played a pivotal role of Aslam, his closest ally who stays with him till the end. A sort of a sequel to this came in the film Wanted which released in 2009. Once again Sarfaraz played a similar of the same name.
His recent releases include Once Upon A Time In Mumbai Dobara and Rammiyya Vastavaiyya. The actor impressed one and all with his subtle acting abilities and a natural screen presence.
Though Sarfaraz has not yet succeeded in reaching the heights that his father Kader Khan reached, but the actor is popular for his simple roles in films like Tere Naam.
Besides his films, Sarfaraz’s passion for films has led him to direct stage plays. He has produced and directed several plays besides acting in them.
