Sapthami Gowda is an Indian film actress who has appeared in Kannada, Tamil and Telugu language films. She made her debut in the Kannada film Popcorn Monkey Tiger in 2019.
Sapthami Gowda was born in Bangalore, Karnataka. She completed her schooling in Bangalore and then pursued a degree in business administration from Christ University, Bangalore. After completing her studies, she worked as a marketing executive in an advertising agency.

Sapthami Gowda was born on October 10, 1992, in Bangalore, Karnataka. She is the only child of her parents. Gowda’s father is a businessman and her mother is a homemaker.
Gowda completed her schooling from St. Francis Xavier Girls’ High School, Bangalore. She then pursued a degree in business administration from Christ University, Bangalore.
After completing her studies, Gowda worked as a marketing executive in an advertising agency. In 2016, she made her acting debut with the Kannada film Kantara. The film was directed by Suresh Heblikar and starred Gowda in the lead role.

She is best known for Kantara, which is is a Kannada language film directed by Suresh Heblikar and starring Sapthami in the lead role. Thiruttu Payale 2 is a Tamil language thriller film directed by Susi Ganeshan and starring Gowda in the lead role. The film also stars Bobby Simha and Prasanna in the lead roles.
Neevevaro is a Telugu language thriller film directed by Harinath and starring Gowda in the lead role. The film also stars Aadhi Pinisetty and Taapsee Pannu in the lead roles.

Sapthami Gowda has won two awards till date – the Karnataka State Film Award for Best Actress and the South Indian International Movie Award for Best Actress.
In 2016, Gowda won the Karnataka State Film Award for Best Actress for her performance in Kantara.
