Just when we noticed the backlash against Aamir Khan when he visited The First Lady – Emine Erdogan. We now see the Indian Ambassador to Turkey Sanjay Panda coming in support of the actor. In his recent tweet, the Indian Ambassador to Turkey called Aamir Khan as the Cultural Ambassador and named the meeting as their finest exponents of meaningful cinema while he was on his location scouting trip to the country for his next film Laal Singh Chaddha.

Aamir Khan visited Turkey last week to shoot for his next film Laal Singh Chaddha with his crew. While he was shooting, he was often surrounded by many of his fans in Istanbul. Many of his photos have gone viral on social media. Aamir Khan faced backlash on the microblogging site called Twitter as many called him anti-national and friend of country’s enemy Turkey for meeting the First Lady.
While others asked him if his wife Kiran Rao feels safe in a country like Turkey who supports the terror groups in the west. Even Kangana Ranaut social media team also slammed the actor by taking a jibe against him by sharing an excerpt of his old interview where they called him a staunch Muslim.
