Sanjay is a Mumbai born actor who pursued acting as his passion. He was a struggling actor for many years before he received roles of less importance in serials and films. He bagged many potential roles of brothers, fathers and even the villain. Later he established himself as mainly the villain. His negative characters were highly influential. His first major character came in the serial Kesar in 2004-07. He played the character of Vikram Mallya.
As the show was highly successful on Star Plus, Sanjay got much recognition. Later he bagged potential roles in the shows like Jyoti and Sindoor Bin Suhagan. In all these roles, he excelled as a character actor. He was very good at portraying a common man with his natural acting skills.
