Web series has been bringing in new faces with almost every part of it but, this time its giving way to the comeback of a highly popular and audiences favourite actress Sandhya Mridul. Actress Sandhya Mridul will be plays a Momzilla role in the Alt Balaji’s new upcoming series, Mentalhood.
Known to be a hot cake show of the most powerful role, Sandhya Mridul is expected to once again captivate the audiences with her role. Actress, Sandhya Mridul mentioned that she will be playing a very powerful and intimidating character in the series, Mentalhood. In fact, she will portray the strongest mother of the show Mentalhood.
The ALTBalaji’s upcoming web series, Mentalhood is directed by Karishma Kohli and is created in a way to take the audiences on the “crazy ride” of motherhood. Sandhya plays a character of a mother, Ajo, who is a perfectionist and a deadly combination of a supermom who will do anything to ensure that her children grow up perfect and will take any step to make them achieve the level of ultimate perfection.
Sandhya Mridul talking about the show, Mentalhood mentioned, “She is the strongest mother of the show. She is a very powerful and intimidating character who most of the mothers are extremely scared of, except for Shilpa’s (actress Shilpa Shukla) character.”
She further added, “So, she at many times borders on neurosis because of that perfection. In real life, I am also like that when I am at work. I am so passionate about what I do that I want to ensure that I do the best I can. Ajo has a very tough exterior but for those who know me, I am a complete softy inside.”
Mentalhood also stars several other star faces including, Karisma Kapoor, Shruti Seth, Tillotama Shome and Dino Morea and is expected to release later this year.
