Salman Khan Vs Kamaal R Khan: Lawyer submit an application seeking contempt of court action against Kamaal R Khan
Salman Khan filed an application before the court demanding action against Kamaal R Khan for making defamatory remarks despite an undertaking not to do so. Earlier Salman filed a defamation suit against KRK and asked to restrain him from commenting on him, his business ventures and films, and other projects.
In the hearing last month, KRK’s lawyer advocate Manoj Gadkari has assured the court that his client will not make any further defamatory remarks or posts against the Radhe actor until the next hearing. It all started when KRK uploaded a video reviewing: Salman Khan’s recently released film Radhe: Your Most Wanted Bhai. Actor turned self-critic KRK used some derogatory language in the video on which Salman filed the complaint.
However, on Monday, June 7 the Additional Sessions Judge CV Marathe has been informed by Salman’s advocate Pradip Ghandy that despite the assurance Kamaal continues to publish defamatory tweets.
Ghandy said that it is a contempt of court and submitted an application seeking contempt action against Kamaal R Khan. Now the court will be hearing the same on June 11. Meanwhile, the earlier statement made by advocate Manoj Gadkari will continue.
