Kartik Aaryan’s Netflix film Dhamaka may have an early release, details inside!

Kartik Aaryan’s film Dhamaka is all set to stream on the digital platform, Netflix. Directed by Ram Madhvani the film is an action-drama based on a Korean blockbuster. A few weeks back it was reported that the film will hit the screens in September. Now according to a report, Netflix is planning to release the film in Late July or earlier August.

“The film is almost ready. The post-production is almost done. Only the CGs(computer graphics) and FX remain. These were somewhat slowed down because of the lockdown. But the work is on. Netflix is looking at a late-July, early-August release,” SpotboyE quoted a source as saying.

Dhamaka is Netflix’s one of the most expensive custom-made feature films. Director Ram Madhvan is famous for his impeccable work in Sonam Kapoor’s Neerja. While it is said that the film is an Indian adaptation of the Korean thriller Terror Live, there are also reports that Dhamaka would have a different approach.

According to the reports, the story of the film revolves around a news anchor reporting a hard-hitting incident of a bomb blast in real-time. ‘Dhamaka’ is being produced by Ronnie Screwvala’s RSVP and co-produced Amita Madhvani.

Apart from ‘Dhamaka’, Kartik will also be seen in ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2’.

Recently on the occasion of Ran Madhvan’s birthday, ‘Pati Patni Aur Woh’ actor took to his Instagram handle and shared a screenshot of a video call conversation with his director and captioned it as, “Wishing my genius director @madhvaniram sir a Dhamaka-daar birthday.”

The filmmaker also expressed his gratitude in the comments section, saying, “Thank you so much Kartik for the wishes and the trust and faith.”
