With the huge success of the film Kick, the makers had declared to make a sequel of the film, however, the date of hitting the floor seemed undecided. Also, Salman Khan was busy with one film or the other all these years that also caused the delay. Now, Salman Khan has felt free to confirm for the same.
As per reports, the film would hit the floor in 2020 and we would see the actor in Devil or Devi Lal Singh avatar once again on the silver screen who is on the search for a kick all the time. Since the makers found the first film overwhelming at the box office, hence they are now leaving any chance to make the sequel with the same passion and vigor. The writers are taking their own time to jot down the best story as they want to live up the expectations of the audience in a big way.
The makers are having several brainstorming sessions to lock the content of the story that will help take up the franchise forward. Thus they have agreed on the idea now and are currently making things in the final shape. Also, if you believe the reports, Sajid himself is working overtime just to make sure that the film hits the floor in 2020. He has been in touch constantly with Salman Khan to make sure to flow things in the right shape. The shooting locations are supposed to be decided later.
Both Sajid and Salman Khan are eager to come back again for their next film and looking forward to work in 2020. The film has completed five years now as it was released in Eid 2014 in August. The film had a huge collection at the box office and it entered into the 100 Crore club in just three days. Salman Khan is also excited about the project and has tweeted about the same earlier stating that the Grandson is his new director for the Kick sequel.
