And now the producer has cleared the air as he disclosed which film he is making with the Dhadak stars. It is none other than the remake of the South Indian film Dear Comrade. The original film is releasing tomorrow and Karan Johar has got the rights to make its Hindi Remake with his banner in B Town.
It seems that in B Town, we have two big genres that remain popular, the first is the biopic films and the other is the remake of South Indian films. Many Bollywood films have created history in B Town with the Hindi remake. These include the recently released film Kabir Singh with Shahid Kapoor and other big blockbuster films like Kick, Gajni to name a few. And now we hear that Karan Johar wants to make a remake of the South Indian film Dear Comrade.
He will be reviving the star cast of Dhadak that gave break to Janhvi Kapoor in the B Town. It also gave a good boost to the Ishaan Kattar. The film Dhadak was the remake of the Marathi movie Sairat, which did huge business at the box office. Karan Johar was quick to share this news on the social media when he wrote a tweet on Microblogging site stating that he is impressed with the powerful love story of Dear Comrade backed with incredible performance, hence has planned to make in Hindi. The Makers of South Indian film has extended their support to Karan Johar. So, let’s see the Dhadak actors back on the silver screen together.
