Nawazuddin Siddiqui will be seen a special avtar of an exorcist for a special song in Akshay Kumar’s Housefull 4. After wrapping up the shoot for Housefull 4 in November last year, the lead cast of the film has reunited a few weeks ago to shoot for a special song for the film. As per sources, the team will be joined by Nawazuddin Siddiqui who will take on a special avatar for the song.
One of the sources revealing facts about the film said, “This time, the bunch will be joined by Nawazuddin Siddiqui, who plays a baba living in a den with 300 disciples. Nawaz will make a special appearance in the song with all the six actors and around 500 back-up dancers. Farhad (Samji, director) and his team have been working on the song for over two weeks and will film it by the month-end.”
Housefull 4 holds a huge star cast including Akshay Kumar, Kriti Sanon, Bobby Deol, Pooja Hegde, Riteish Deshmukh and Kriti Kharbanda.
Nawazuddin Siddiqui in order to play the role of a baba for this special song will be reuniting with producer Sajid Nadiadwala after long five years after his directorial debut with Kick that featured Salman Khan and Jacqueline Fernandez in the lead.
Reports also suggest that Nawaz’s character, as an exorcist, will be introducing an important twist in the plot. Housefull 4 is based on a story revolving around a reincarnation comedy that has been divided between two eras.
Sources have also revealed, “A huge set is being built at Mumbai’s Filmcity studio for the song which will be shot over five days and will be choreographed by Ganesh Acharya.”
While the major part of the film was shot in the UK, the past-life sequences have been shot in Rajasthan. This will be the first time ever that the father-daughter duo of Johnny and Jamie Lever are going to share screen together for a film. The film also features Chunky Panday and Rana Daggubati.
It was earlier known that Akshay Kumar will be playing the role of a 16th century king in the film and it will be quite interesting to watch Akshay as a bald king from the 16th century. Sajid Khan, who had directed all the earlier three films in the franchise, was initially the director of Housefull 4 as well , but was replaced by Farhad Samji after sexual harassment allegations on him. Nana Patekar was also replaced by Rana Daggubati due to the similar allegations as well.
