Sharmaji Namkeen: Rishi Kapoor and Paresh Rawal promises a peeky yet emotional story; Trailer OUT
As announced, Amazon Prime Video released the trailer of Rishi Kapoor’s last film Sharmaji Namkeen. While sharing the trailer, Amazon Prime captioned, “one legend embracing us with warmth, another taking us through, Sharmaji’s story-of life, love,and laughter is surely the one to take away your blues!?

The trailer starts with introducing Rishi Kapoor and Paresh Rawal as Sharmaji and the trailer shares the glimpse of the cluttered life of a man after his retirement.
Yesterday, Farhan Akhtar had also shared a video in which Ranbir revealed that Rishi Kapoor’s unfortunate demise resulted in the makers trying VFX. He remembers his father with a phrase saying, “You must have heard ‘The show must go on’, but I’ve seen Papa live his life.” The Ae Dil Hai Mushkil actor also added that ‘Sharmaji Namkeen’ will always be my one of the most fondest memories of my father. Upon the screen, bringing a smile to his countless fans”
Farhan Akhtar had also shared the new poster of the film. In this poster, the actor can be seen and in the second half of the screen, Juhi Chawla can be seen dancing along with her ladies squad.
Sharmaji Namkeen is directed by Hitesh Bhatia and produced by Excel Entertainment in association with MacGuffin Pictures. It stars the late Rishi Kapoor and Paresh Rawal, both of whom play the titular character, alongside Juhi Chawla, Suhail Nayyar, Taaruk Raina, Satish Kaushik, Sheeba Chaddha, and Isha Talwar. The movie will premiere on Prime Video on March 31.
