Actor Salman Khan, who has been hosting the Colors TV reality show, Bigg Boss for a long time, is all set to bid adieu to the reality show as host. Yes, you read that right! According to reports, the actor is leaving the show, and Bigg Boss OTT host and producer Karan Johar will take over hosting duties beginning with the next Weekend Ka Vaar episode of Bigg Boss 16.
Reports claim that Salman Khan’s contract with the channel and the makers of the show has expired. Therefore, the Bigg Boss OTT host will be seen in his place for quite some time.
As per the reports from THE KHABRI, the actor won’t appear after this week’s Weekend Ka Vaar. The tweet reads: “Exclusive #BiggBoss16 #KaranJohar to host #BiggBoss16 from next week. As Revealed earlier Only #AbduRozik and #SreejitaDe have come out of the house as of now. #SajidKhan is still there, let’s see when he comes out.”
The report also confirmed that Salman Khan will return to the grand finale that is supposed to happen next month in February. Let us remind you, Karan Johar also hosted the third week of Bigg Boss 16 when Salman Khan was down with dengue. Also, the filmmaker hosted the digital version of this reality show, which received amazing feedback from the viewers. Hence, he has always been the first choice of makers after Salman.
Salman Khan to work with Priyanka Choudhary and Sajid Khan in future
Recently, during Salman Khan’s meeting with Simi Garewal on the show, he was asked to name his favourite contestants of all time. Later, he shared the names of the best contestants of this season and stated that he would probably work with Priyanka Choudhary and Sajid Khan after Big Boss 16. The host also called her ‘heroine material’ in one of the episodes. Also, Sajid’s sister and filmmaker Farah Khan addressed her as Deepika Padukone of the house when she entered BB16 n the family week.
