Kuttey Box Office: The film starring Arjun Kapoor, Tabu, Radhika Madan, Naseeruddin Shah, and Konkona Sen Sharma was released yesterday in theatres yesterday. The film received quite a positive response from the critics, but it seems like this hasn’t helped them to draw a crowd in the theatre. It had a dull opening, ruining the expectations of the makers.
Everyone was excited after watching the trailer of this money heist crime thriller, as it brought some stellar actors together. However, the Day 1 revenues aren’t even satisfactory to call it a successful debut. Despite an amazing cast, Kuttey failed to generate enough interest among the audience.

The first-day box office figures for this film directed by Vishal Bhardwaj’s son, Aasman Bhardwaj, were recently revealed.Looking at the Kuttey Box Office collection on Day 1, we are certain that the makers will be disheartened. As per initial reports, the film manages to gross only Rs. 1.50 crore on its opening day, which is relatively low. Being a film with a high budget of 80 crores, Kuttey Box Office collection was supposed to be at least Rs. 8–10 crores. However, the film failed to even collect half of the expected amount.
Let us tell you, the film also attracted enough controversies before its release, When the poster was released, some people liked it, while others had a problem with its title. A lawsuit was also filed against this film, demanding the name change of this Arjun Kapoor starrer. However, the film has been released in theatres with the same title.
It would be interesting to know if the Kuttey Box Office collection improves in the coming days or deteriorates further. Today is Saturday and the film would probably pick up due to positive word-of-mouth. Let’s see whether it thrives in its first weekends or fails miserably.
