The recently released trailer of the film De De Pyar De by Akiv Ali showcases the 50-year-old actor flirting and romancing a girl half of his age played by Rakul Preet Singh proves the same. Similar is the case with Saif Ali Khan who has started with his next film of Nitin Kakkar that talks about the middle-aged man getting married again at the age when other men of this age prefer not to have sex.
However, with films like Badhaai Ho by Gajraj Rao with an old aged couple getting good news for a baby has changed the prudish perception. Now, talking about the Saif Ali Khan’s next film, it is called as Jawani Jaan-e-Man by Nitin Kakkar, and it talks about father-daughter story Kakkar has selected, but he is not roping in Sara Ali Khan with Saif in the film. Instead, the makers have put Alia the daughter of Pooja Bedi in the film with Saif Ali Khan.
The director informed that they have started with the shooting of the said film this Monday and it is a story of a father and daughter. Saif Ali Khan is co-producing the , but he has not taken Sara Ali Khan for it for obvious reasons. However, the makers have their own reason for doing so when they said that they were looking for a fresh face. The director further stated that it would not work with the known faces; hence they have taken Alia in it. He then gave the example of Notebook as how the film with novices has got rave reviews.
